First Line Engineer
Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting, working directly with customers and colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.
First Line Engineer at Penelope Technical Ltd, studying Creative Music Technology at UWE Bristol. I moved into engineering after a hospitality background and a research contract in optical gaming eyewear — I like learning how things work from the ground up.

Ran an independent research project into optical gaming eyewear, reaching out to potential customers and inviting them to take part as affiliates. Collated findings and presented results back to managers.
Supported meal preparation during service, led end-of-service clean downs and weekly deep cleans, and helped with stock ordering and supplier contact.
My first job — washing dishes, preparing starters and desserts, and closing down the kitchen at the end of service.
I'm from Temple Cloud, near Bristol. I've worked in the restaurant and pub sector locally since I was 15, which gave me an early grounding in working with people, keeping calm under pressure, and getting things done as part of a team — starting as a kitchen porter at The Lazy Lobster, then as a kitchen assistant at The Temple Inn.
After finishing my A-levels I took on a product research contract with Inspecs Ltd in Bath, helping develop a gaming eyewear brand — my first taste of working independently on a proper project. I'm now a First Line Engineer at Penelope Technical Ltd, and studying Creative Music Technology at UWE Bristol.
Outside of work, music is a big part of my life — I play a range of instruments, specialising in guitar, and perform at open mic nights around Bristol. It's a long-term ambition of mine to work in the music industry.
Always open to a conversation — work, music, or otherwise.
